Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we hear most. If you do not see yours here, contact us and we will help.
Ordering
Who may purchase from Merit Bio? Our compounds are supplied to qualified researchers and research organizations for laboratory use only. By placing an order you confirm that you are a qualified researcher, that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction, and that the materials will be used and handled in an appropriate research setting. Merit Bio does not sell to the general public for personal use.
How do I place an order? Add the compounds you need to your cart and complete checkout. At checkout you will confirm that the materials are for research use only and accept our Terms of Service before payment.
Can I change or cancel an order? If your order has not yet shipped, contact us right away and we will do our best to update or cancel it. Once an order has shipped it is on its way and follows our standard policies below.
Shipping
How are orders shipped? Compounds ship as lyophilized powder in sealed, labeled vials with protective packaging. We show available stock and honest lead times on each product page.
Where do you ship? Shipping destinations and timelines are described in our Shipping Policy. If you have a question about a specific destination, contact us before ordering.
How do I track my order? You will receive tracking details by email once your order ships. Reach out if anything looks off and we will sort it out.
Returns and refunds
What is your return and refund policy? Our full terms are on the Refund Policy page. Because these are research materials, some items may be non-returnable once opened; the policy page explains exactly what qualifies and how to request a refund or replacement.
What if my order arrives damaged? Contact us promptly with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we will make it right under our refund policy.
Research use and handling
What does “research use only” mean? It means every compound Merit Bio supplies is intended solely for in-vitro laboratory research. These products are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or dietary supplements, and they are not for human or veterinary consumption. The label on every vial carries a “Research Use Only / Not for Human Consumption” notice.
How should lyophilized vials be stored? As a general storage guideline for the materials we ship: keep sealed, lyophilized vials cold and protected from light. Many lyophilized research peptides are stored refrigerated for the short term and frozen for longer-term storage, and kept away from heat, humidity, and direct light to help preserve stability. Always follow the storage conditions appropriate to your protocol and the specifics noted on the product label.
Do you sell BAC? Yes — BAC is listed in our Lab supplies category alongside our other consumables.
Do you provide certificates of analysis or purity figures? Our listings describe each compound by name, class, and vial contents. We do not publish purity figures or certificates of analysis, so no purity claims appear on the site.
